The Owls of John G. Osborne E.S. are hosting its 3rd Annual College Week from February 29- March 7, 2012. One of our school’s missions, along with that of HISD, is to create a college bound atmosphere which targets the importance of higher educational attainment while producing healthy, well-rounded individuals for the future. For this week’s festivities, we are asking all students to bring/purchase a plain white t-shirt to school by Wednesday February 29, 2012. T-shirts purchased from the school will be $5.00. Each grade level will design their own college t-shirts to wear for the spirit pep rally held on Thursday March 1, 2012. Please assist your child in providing a t-shirt for them. Thank you so much for your support and all that you do for your children.

The After School Interventions for Osborne are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for Kindergarten-Fifth grade.
The interventions begin this week for grades k-2, and continue for grades 3-5. We will hold interventions weekly from now until Stanford testing on May7, 2011, unless told otherwise.

Super STAAR Saturday’s have begun for students in grades 3-5. Please see the following schedule for future dates for Saturday.
