Annual Food Drive

Osborne’s students and staff would like to thank everyone for their donation of 1,154 canned goods and boxed items during our annual can food drive. A special thank you goes out to the following organizations for their contributions of turkeys and/or hams to complete the Thanksgiving baskets:

The Owls Celebrate Grandparents Day

On September 9, 2010, Osborne celebrated Grandparents Day. We invited our terrific Grandparents to enjoy a scrumptious lunch with their Grandchild(ren). Then each Grandparent was given a special letter thanking them for their attendance to the festive event.

We kicked off our 2010-2011 EXEMPLARY school year with a pep rally. We were welcomed by our cheerleaders and enjoyed a great performance by our drum line and dance team.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

On March 5, 2010 Osborne ES celebrated Dr. Seuss’s 106th birthday. We had our “Owl-some” 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students read various Dr. Seuss classics like The Cat and the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham to our Pre-kindergarten – 2nd grade students. Our fully equipped with Dr. Seuss hats, books and excellent reading skills.
